ellipsoidal particle color emitter

Hi, I am using unity4 and creating a simple particle effect. Everything is working fine but the particle color emitter is not working even though its attached with the gameObject. What I did

Create an Empty Game Object
Add ellipsoidal particle emitter
Add particle renderer
Add particle animator


The particle color is purple by default and it isnt changing at all

Fixed it! if anyone else is having this issue you then open the
Particle Renderer tab...
