Unity Not Recognizing Unwrap

So i'm taking a imported image from unity and putting it on my object which it doesn't display correctly it will just display like the average color of that image and not the actual image. My object is a blender model which I have uvunwrapped and it still won't work, any ideas?

EDIT: Simple things like stripes work but more complicated images don't work, if I increase the tiling it will show like some random thin stripes but that's it.
