I'm am new to shaders, and trying to write a 3d terrain shader for my mobile game. I am trying to get my grass tiles to overlay 'edge' shapes onto other tile types (ie. dirt), and blend it nicely. Here's what it looks like after a bit of experimentation, with some placeholder graphics (I still need to add 'corner' sprites in addition to other edge shape variations)
